HEALING TRAUMA IS POSSIBLE

Services
Offering individual and couples therapy.
Bilingual counselling services in English and Mandarin.
My approach is pluralistic, trauma-informed and culturally appropriate.
A safe and confidential space to work with the clients toward healing and growth.

Have you ever felt that you are always trying to be strong, responsible, or “good enough” — while carrying an invisible sense of exhaustion, disconnection, or uncertainty about who you truly are? Many of the patterns we struggle with today were once meaningful ways we learned to survive. People-pleasing, perfectionism, emotional suppression, over-responsibility, or difficulty setting boundaries may have developed as ways to maintain safety and connection.
I support adults who are seeking to understand themselves more deeply, heal from past experiences, and build more authentic relationships with themselves and others. My work focuses on complex trauma, relational wounds, attachment patterns, childhood emotional experiences, and the challenges of navigating different cultural worlds.
As a Chinese-born migrant living in Aotearoa New Zealand, I understand that healing is shaped not only by our personal experiences, but also by our families, cultures, relationships, and communities. I bring both professional training and lived experience of crossing cultures into my counselling practice.
My holistic approach integrates trauma-informed and mindful-somatic perspectives, including Trauma-Informed Stabilisation Treatment (TIST), parts work, polyvagal theory, attachment-based approaches, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and other relational approaches.
I am committed to creating a safe, inclusive, neurodiversity-affirming, and LGBTQIA+-affirming counselling space where each person's unique identity, lived experience, and story are respected, valued, and embraced.
I believe healing is not about becoming someone different. It is about reconnecting with the parts of ourselves that have been lost, silenced, or protected — and developing a kinder relationship with ourselves.
